RUTH'S OBITUARY
Ruth Kay Beach, 81 of Kirksville, MO passed away Monday (January 31st, 2022) at Kirksville Manor Care. The daughter of Lewis Noble and Olivia Virginia (Magers) Pruett was born December 13th, 1940 in Elmer, MO. On May 11th, 1958 in Elmer, MO, she was united in marriage to Charles Beach.

Kay is survived by her Daughter, Debbie Hudnall and husband Brian; Son, Randy Beach and wife Janet; Grandchildren, Jeremy Beach, Nicole Harris, Amber Lopez, Heather Hudnall-Ripley and Hailey Aguero; Step-Grandchildren, Jill Bishop, John Elam and Ben Yadon; 9 Great Grandchildren; and several Nieces and Nephews including, Tammy Martins and Russell Pruett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brother, Leon Pruett and great grandson Darren Roberts.

Kay grew up in Elmer, MO and graduated in 1958. After marriage, Charles and Kay moved to Kirksville. She loved to quilt and was the founding member of the Hands of Friendship Quilt Guild. She loved to play bridge and was a member of many bridge clubs. Kay enjoyed to travel and spend time with her family. She was a member of the Eastern Star and First United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 4th, 2022 with the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 5th, 2022 at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home with Reverend Scott Beard officiating. Burial will follow at Park View Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be: John Elam, Jeremy Beach, Steve Calloway, Mike Kriegel, Jay Miller and Russell Pruett.

Memorials can be made to the Adair County Humane Society.
