Debra "Debbie" Kay Pemberton-Bare, 56, of LaGrange, passed away at 5:30pm on Monday, January 31, at Miller's Merry Manor, where she had been for the past month under the care of Parkview Hospice.

She was born on September 16, 1965 in Dayton, Ohio to Betty Pemberton.

Surviving are two sisters Judy (Lynn) Yoder of Salome, AZ (formerly of Shipshewana), Robin Diane Powell of White Pigeon, MI, and a brother Robert Pemberton of Shipshewana and a special niece Kristy (Tim) Quinn of Hanson, KY.

She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother Larry Pemberton.

She lived in Charleston, West Virginia until the death of her mother and then entered the Arc of LaGrange County, where she resided and worked for the past 20 plus years. She loved all her friends at the Arc, animals, her family and Jesus very much.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of LaGrange.

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg, Ohio.

Miller-Stewart Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
