Richard "Rick" Bruce Pederson, 68, passed away Friday, April 2, 2021 following a suspected stroke and subsequent neurologic injury.
Rick was born in Alexandria, Minn., to John and LaVern Pederson. The family moved to California in 1960, and later on Rick graduated from Berkeley. He enjoyed life in the Bay Area of California, working in software sales and raising two girls with his wife, Holly. Then in 1999, the family settled at an Oregon homestead and Rick remained in the area until his passing.
Rick was a playful, kind, artistic and inventive man. He was a guy's guy, and his loyalty to friends and family was a hallmark of his personality.
He is survived by his daughters, Samantha (33) and Alexandra (30); his brother, Robert and sister-in-law, Claudia, remain in southern California.
