James Irwin Lawrence of Georgetown, TX went home to his Lord on January 26th, 2022, at the age of 59.

James was born to Joan and David Lawrence in Boston, Massachusetts on January 2nd, 1963.

He and his wife Pip lived in Zimbabwe for the first years of their marriage, then moved to Texas to raise their family.

James was devoted to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and served as a deacon at his church for several years.

Known as 'Mr. Fix-It,' he ministered to those around him by repairing whatever was broken. He worked in various engineering positions at Chatsworth Products for 22 years alongside some wonderful people. Pip is thankful to God and blessed beyond words to have been married to such an exemplary man.

James is survived by his parents, Joan and David; sister, Suzanne and her husband Curtis; and brothers: Edward and William; his wife, Pip; his daughters: Liesl, Tessa and her husband Garrett, Bonnie and her husband Gavin, and Andrea; nieces: Alicia and her husband Collin, and Margaret; and a much-loved church family and friends.

His memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 4rd, 2022 at Crestview Baptist Church in Georgetown.
