BEESLEY, Eddie Jacob, 72, resident of Marbury, AL, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Posey Crossroads. Burial will follow at Prattville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Sunday at the church from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Mr. Bessley was preceded in death by his parents, Ander and Gladys Beesley; and brother, Wilson Beesley. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Opal Beesley; two daughters, Tina Kelley, Melanie Rooney Smith (Maurice); son, Chris Kelley; four grandchildren, Devin Jacob Womack, Candice Strong, Autumn Williams, Sadie Smith; sister, Geraldine Long; brother, David Beesley; and numerous extended family members and friends.
