Cathy Ann Edwards was born June 17, 1956 in Scotland County, daughter of the late Grady Edwards and Evelyn Littles Edwards.
She worked many years for US Kordsa, Inc. and was talented in painting, crafts, and loved flowers. She also enjoyed learning various skills from YouTube videos. Cathy loved people and talking to others, and especially loved spending time with her family. She will forever be missed as a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Cathy passed away on January 24, 2022 at the age of 65.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Grady Edwards, Jr. and Gene Gregory.
Cathy leaves behind her son, Robert Edwards of Laurinburg; brother, Danny Ray Edwards of Ohio, nieces, Amanda Todd (Rich), Evelyn Gilliard (Alexander), and Tonya Edwards, along with her extended family and many friends.
A Graveside service will be at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, January 27, 2022 in Laurinburg Memorial Park. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at graveside.
