He moved back to his parents' home town of Coolidge, GA, when he was around 5 years old. Justin attended the Thomas County School system and graduated with Honors from Thomas County Central High School on May 20, 2017. He went on to join the National Guard on November 1, 2017. He served in Kosovo from June 2019 to March 2020. When he returned state side he began working locally and most recently was an Automotive Tech with Spence in Thomasville. Justin was a student with Higher Performance Jiu Jitsu of Thomasville, and spoke often about how he was advancing and enjoyed being there. Justin was actively pursuing his dream of becoming a full-time member of the Army where he could be a pilot.
The family is hosting a private (Family Only) Graveside Service on Thursday, February 10, 2022. Visitation is open to the public and will be held at Whiddon Shiver Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Thomasville YMCA – 103 S. Dawson St., Thomasville, GA 31792 or the Thomas County Humane Society – 180 Big Star Dr., Thomasville, GA 31757, in remembrance of his love for animals.
