Michael J. Chapman, 54, of Saltillo, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2022, at Quality of Life — Westmont Woods, Johnstown.

Born March 10, 1967, in Huntingdon, he was the son of the late Marshall and Helen (Hamilton) Chapman. He was united in marriage to Sandra Glendye Aug. 26, 1989. Mrs. Chapman survives at home.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Chapman is survived by daughter Holly Chapman, at home, son Eric Chapman, Three Springs, siblings Lyla Devlin and husband Ron, Carolyn Pugh and husband John, Donald "Butch" Geissinger and wife Barb and Pamela "Sue" Wrenn and husband Wally.

Good friend Jerry Janickey and niece Tracy Schmidt also survive.

Siblings Richard Geissinger, Lee Geissinger and Mahlon Chapman preceded him in death.

Mr. Chapman was employed as a custodian at the Southern Huntingdon County High School.

He loved his Chevrolet Camaro, going to car shows, the Pittsburgh Steelers and playing on his computer.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, with the Rev. Alann Schmidt officiating. Interment will be at Mountainview Cemetery, Mill Creek. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service Friday.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia.
