Victoria "Vicki" Lynn Davis Schneider, 61, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2022 at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care, Wilmington Hospital in Wilmington, DE. She fought a gallant fight with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). She was born in Wilmington, DE on December 9, 1960 to Christian and Margo Davis. She grew up in Limestone Acres in Wilmington, DE. She eventually moved to Connecticut and graduated in 1978 from Coventry High School, located in Coventry, CT. She worked at ACME Markets for more than 20 years, spending time in the Hockessin and Trolley Square stores. She achieved a lifelong dream when she started working as a teacher at Education Enrichment Center in Wilmington, DE. For over 11 years, Vicki loved using her creative talents to teach young children. She enjoyed crafting, photography, and cooking. Vicki loved visiting Longwood Gardens, the Philadelphia Zoo, and Cape Henlopen State Park.
In addition to her parents, Christian and Margo Davis, she is survived by her loving husband, Richard Schneider; children Elizabeth (Brian) Farrell, Gregory Harrison, Sarah Harrison (Miguel Pantoja Rojas), Jamie Schneider, and Cindee Hanna; as well as her siblings: Christian (Denise) Davis, Emily (Scott) Knowles, and Robert (Alyssa) Davis. She loved spending time with all of her Grandchildren: Joseph, Patrick, Alexander, Mack, and Campbell. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, as well as family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday February 4th from 2:30 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. with funeral services beginning at 3:30 P.M. at Grace United Methodist Church, 900 Washington St, Wilmington, DE 19801. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Defeat MSA Alliance, 29924 Jefferson Avenue, Saint Clair Shores, MI 48082
