On Wednesday, January 26, 2022 our beloved Ms. Mary Albanese McDonald passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in Fairfield, California.
Mary was born on February 29, 1932 in Mammola, Italy. She spent the majority of her life in King City and the last four years in Fairfield, California near her grandchildren.
Her favorite hobbies were reading romance novels, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her family. She liked to vacation with Rick in Florida and New Orleans. She liked to have lunch and go shopping with Trish and Katie. She liked Donna's cooking and she liked to watch TV with Pat.
Mary worked at Wells Fargo Bank for 18 years with some of her closest friends. She was a member of Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church.
Mary is survived by her two sons, Richard and Patrick; her granddaughters Patricia (Trish) and Katherine (Katie); her daughter-in- law Donna; her little brother Jim Albanese; and her sister-in-law Teresa Albanese. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and wonderful friends whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nicodemo and Angela Albanese; her brother Joseph Albanese; her brother Frank and his wife Nancy Albanese; and her brother Sam and his wife Nancy Albanese.
Mary will be missed dearly, but she will live in our hearts forever.
A Celebration of her life will be held February 5, 2022 at St. John's Catholic Church in King City. Mass will be held at 11:00 am followed by internment at King City District Cemetery.
