Kathy went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Friday Jan. 21, 2022. She was born July 14, 1948, the eldest of four children to Eldon Quiring and Betty Coito Quiring. Kathy lived in Chico all her life except for her four years at Los Angeles Baptist College graduating in 1971, (The Masters University) and a year teaching in Redding. She attended John McManus Elementary, Bidwell Jr. High, and Chico High, class of 1966.

Kathy worked her whole career in the medical world in a variety of locations but the last 32 years in Enloe's business office. She was most proud of her time serving her Lord as the Cheerleading coach for Champion Christian High School. She was active in the Melodiers, Neighborhood Church's Choir as well as serving in the Sunday School ministry.

Kathy was married to Ken for over 48 years and they have two children, Kenny Jr. (Brooke), and Krista (Patrick) Estvold and three grandchildren, Anders, Aksel, and Ava. She is survived also by her siblings, Robert (Wendy)Quiring, Carol (John) Devito, and Linda (Dave) Dewey and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She will be buried at Glen Oaks Memorial Park with a private family service and a Celebration of Life Eternal will be held April 16 at 11 AM at Calvary Chapel, Chico. It is her desire that you consider your eternity and the free gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. In lieu of flowers contributions to Samaritan's Purse, Urban Impact of Pittsburg, PA or Calvary Chapel Children's ministry are requested.
