Robert Norman Cole, 75, of Hudson passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 following a period of declining health.
Robert was born on December 30, 1946 in McDowell County to the late Perry Cole and Mabel Waycaster Cole. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in the Vietnam War and a loving husband to his wife, Ruby Marshall, for over 40 years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Ronnie Cole and Tim Cole; and sister, Sindy Al-Melhem.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ruby Marshall, of the home; sisters, Phyllis McAlister, Doris Bradley, and Susie Jenkins; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a private service at a later date.
