Craig Lee Gilbert, 71, of Spring Township, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022, in his home. He was married for 28 years who remained his friend until his death. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Lester (Gil) and Joyce (Schaeffer) Gilbert. Craig graduated from Exeter Senior High School in 1968. He was a self-employed contractor for many years until his retirement. Besides his family, golfing and bowling were a passion in Craig's life. He won numerous golf tournaments over the years, but the Father/Son golf tournament at Pinehurst Golf Course in North Carolina meant the world to him. Craig also was competitive in bowling with numerous 300 games and tournament wins over the years. Craig is survived by his daughter as well as his two grandson's,. He is also survived by two brothers anf two sisters, and three nieces and one nephew. Craig adored his spoiled adopted cat Louie who is missing his buddy already. Services and interment are private.
