Charles Mabrey Wampler of Farmington passed away suddenly on May 15, 2018 in Marquand, MO at the age of 74. He was born on April 11, 1944, in Fredericktown, MO to Kathleen (Johnson) Wampler and the late Mabrey "Red" Wampler. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Kay Wampler, a son in law, Randy Flores and special canine companion, Troubles.

Charlie enjoyed fishing, golfing and sports.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Clara "Estell" (Cotton) Wampler of Farmington, his mother, Kathleen (Johnson) Wampler of Farmington, children, Greg (Tanessa) Strelsky of Rockdale, TX, Kimberly Flores of Rockdale, TX, Donya (Alex) McAteer of High Ridge, MO, and Chris Wampler of Arnold, MO, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, a sister, Judy Hei of Farmington, nieces, nephews, cousins, an aunt and many friends.

Visitation was on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Interment was private.
