Karen Joanne Williams, 66, of Corwith, Iowa passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa. A visitation and funeral at the First Baptist Church of Eagle Grove, burial in the Boxholm Cemetery in Boxholm, Iowa. The family will be honoring her by wearing Pink. Please feel free to do the same.

Karen was born in Algona, Iowa on March 12, 1955, the daughter of Kenneth and Lucille (Gunder) Hirsch. She grew up in Eagle Grove and the surrounding area where she attended school. After high school she married Gordon Demery, the couple moved to Florida then returned home to Iowa. Of this union three children were born.

On November 8, 1983, she married Robert "Bob" Williams Sr. and the couple lived in Corwith, Iowa. They had two children together. Karen made sure that all her children knew they were loved beyond measure. Karen was a member of the ASPCA where she gave every chance she could as animals were a huge love of her life.

She loved spending time with her family and friends enjoying conversation and coffee or an energy drink. She also truly enjoyed fishing, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, NASCAR (especially Dale Earnhardt Jr.), socializing with friends, and watching soap operas, and her dogs. Throughout her life her animals always brought her so much joy.

Surviving are her husband Bob Williams Sr. of Corwith, Iowa; children TiAllen Demery of Mason City, Iowa, Mark Demery of Lehigh, Iowa, Karrie (Vidal) Akbar of Mason City, Iowa, Jessica (Carmelino) Vega of Thompson, Iowa and Robert Williams Jr. of Corwith, Iowa; step-children Tina (John) Smith of Boone, Iowa and Todd (Lisa) Williams of Council Bluffs Iowa; grandchildren Hailey, Joshua, Isabella, Alexander, Braxton, Kenneth, Angela, and Guadalupe; sisters Judy Wanken and Lois Otto; brother Mike (Caroline) Hirsch; in-laws Leroy and Karen Williams; many nieces and nephews; and close friends.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Kenneth "Gene" Hirsch, Denny Hirsch, and Gary Hirsch.
