She was born on June 7, 1959 in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of John and Patricia Engelmann. They precede her in death. Also, preceding Lori in death was her brother; Gregory Engelmann and sisters, Crystal Starns and Joni Kay Engelmann.

Lori was blessed to meet and fall in love with Christopher Roberts. They were married on October 7, 2014, and shared wonderful years together. Chris survives and will miss her dearly.

Lori leaves behind her stepdaughter, Kelsey (Drew) Boring and step-granddaughter Paislee, along with her three sisters, Cheryl Bayles, Rene Engelmann and Leah Engelmann; one brother in-law; Jed Starns, two sister-in-laws; Pamela Williams and Christina (Kevin) Bailey-Kupcik; her best friend since grade school; Sarah Louise Hamilton, along with many special nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Carle Hospice for their compassion and support.

Per Lori's wishes she will be cremated with a memorial planned for this spring.
