Leonard Taylor, 89, of Rossville went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 31, 2022. Mr. Taylor had lived most of his life in the North Georgia area where he attended Rossville High School. He served his country in the United States Air Force serving in England as a Fire Fighter and it was there he met his wife and best friend of 60 years. Mr. Taylor was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and he retired from Arrow Exterminators as an Exterminator. He loved to garden and he was known for his 2 lb. tomatoes. He also enjoyed black and white Western Movies and the Grand Ole Opry. Mr. Taylor loved spending time at home where he cherished this time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Pamela Florence Taylor; parents, W.W. and Ethel Taylor; brothers, Tommy, Walter, and Larry Taylor; and sister, Pricilla Robertson; son-in-law, J.R. Malone.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Steven (Deanna) Taylor, Mervyn Taylor, and Susan Malone; grandchildren, Camden, Charity, Ashley, Halston, Blake, Hunter, Shavon, Preston, Vincent, Shane, Nicole, Star, Ericka, and Kristen; nine great grandchildren; sister, Jean (Gary) Payton; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Monday, February 7th at 12:30 p.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
