Keith Davis, 81, West Fargo, ND., and formerly of Lisbon, died on Saturday, January 29, 2022, in Fargo.

Keith Gary Davis, was born on August 28, 1940, in Lisbon, ND to Leon and Harriet (Finks) Davis. He was raised and educated in Lisbon and graduated from Lisbon High School in 1958, where he was a member of the choir, junior play, school paper, and basketball team. As a young adult, he was employed by a local hardware store and worked in the Sheyenne Grasslands area planting trees. Keith also served his country as a member of the Army National Guard of North Dakota.

Keith married Dorothy Lukes on June 27, 1966, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church of Lisbon. They made their home in Fargo, where Keith was employed at The Fargo Toggery Men's Store and Fargo Modern Auto Glass. They resided in the Madison Avenue Neighborhood of North Fargo for many years. In 1971, Keith began employment at North Dakota State University in facilities management at the New Field House (formerly Bison Sports Arena) and continued in various buildings on the campus until he retired in September of 2006. Recently, Keith and Dorothy became residents of West Fargo, ND, where he especially enjoyed the sunroom in his new residence.

Keith was a former longtime member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Fargo and was presently a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in West Fargo. He was also a member of the American Legion. Keith enjoyed golfing, bowling, and more recently, he was passionate about his grandchildren's activities, Bison Athletics, and visiting with family and friends. During retirement, Keith learned how to use an iPad, where he enjoyed playing poker and Word Feud. He especially enjoyed family time during annual outings every summer in Detroit Lakes, MN and at the Norsk Hostfest in Minot, ND. His contagious smile and sense of humor will be greatly missed.
