Funeral Service for James Edward "Jimmy" Harden, 68 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Way of the Cross Freewill Baptist Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on December 12, 1953 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Opal Juanita (Riggs) Harden and James Edward Harden and passed away on January 27, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mr. Harden was a land surveyor and owner/operator of Harden and Associates Surveying and Mapping. He was a member of Way of the Cross Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors are:

2 daughters: Jamie Harden of Moore, OK and Kerry Harden of Sand Springs, OK;

7 grandchildren: Victoria, Hannah, Jeremy, Tristan, Dannika, Kenzie and Jocelynne;

3 great grandchildren: Maya, Kyra and Calliope;

5 sisters: June Reese of Sallisaw, OK, Barbara Enyart and Clint of Sallisaw, OK, Martha Ely and Johnny Dale of Sallisaw, OK, Jo An Harden of Sallisaw, OK and Eva Boyd and Gary of Pryor, OK;

1 brother: Ike Harden and Earlene of Sallisaw, OK;

Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Katheryn Harden, parents, 1 sister: Shirley Ann Harden and 1 niece: Shelly Rinehart

Active Pallbearers will be Jackie Horn, J.R. Bibb, Mike Stephens, Paul White, Pete Smith and Roy Fair.

Honorary Pallbearer will be William Stites.

Viewing will be 10 am – 6 pm Saturday and 2 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 4 – 6 pm Sunday.
