He loved the outdoors, especially snowmobiling. He loved hanging out with his friends. His truck was his baby. Working with trees was Jakes calling. He was a little 'monkey Man.' He would do anything, for anyone, at anytime, anywhere.
We will all remember his joking manner and big smile. He was loved by so many and we were all so proud of him.
He is survived by his mother Amanda Perkins; stepdad Tom Wright; brother Lucas Perkins; father Jason Hyde; sisters, Bethany and Lilly Hyde; grandparents that thought of him as a son, Lewis Hyde and Peggy Crowley; aunt and uncle, Danielle and Shaun Lawson; grandparents, Rose and Dwight Perkins, grandparents, Susan and Ron Lussier; great-grandmother Ethel Crowley; and many more aunts, uncles; cousins and so many special friends.
Visiting hours will take place on Friday, Sept. 9, from 2 p.m. until the start of funeral services at 5 p.m., at the Westbrook Warren Congregational Church, 810 Main St., Westbrook. Arrangements are by Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook.
