Thomas A. Wilson Sr. was born 30 October 1942 in Culpeper VA. He began his eternal rest quietly in his home in Cibolo, TX on 20 January 2022. A Vietnam Veteran, he served his country honorably in the United States Air Force from 10 September 1966 to 30 January 1991, retiring as a Master Sergeant of 25 years and 3 months of service. A dutiful son, loving brother, and dedicated husband and father, Thomas was loved and admired by all who encountered him. Affectionately called Mr. T. for his laid-back ways and his "suited and booted" fashion. He was known as Boo, Boo-Boo, Little Grandpa, Upstairs Grandpa, and Grandpa by his grand- and great grandchildren.
*He leaves to mourn his passing his former spouse, of Tallahassee, FL; a son, of Spokane, WA; two daughters, of Cibolo, TX, a daughter, of Spokane, WA; a brother, of Culpeper, Virginia; a sister, of Lignum, Virginia, two sisters, of Culpeper, Virginia; an aunt, of Washington, D.C.; an uncle, of Culpeper, Virginia; 25 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 33 nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and special friends.
Proceeded in eternal slumber by his parents, Ulysses W. Wilson and Mary H. (Holmes); son, Terry L. Garry; brothers, Rev. Hugh R. Wilson and Robert (Bobby) L. Wilson and a sister, Edith O. Wilson.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Culpeper Baptist Church 318 S. West St., Culpeper, VA with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery (old section).
