Russell Wright Bradley, 73, of Fuquay-Varina, NC, formerly of Lillington, NC passed away Thursday January 27, 2022 at Transitions LifeCare Hospice House in Raleigh,NC.
He was born November 14, 1948, in Fayetteville, NC to the late Estelle Lou Taylor Bradley and Wilson Joffree Bradley.
Russell graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a master's degree in accounting. He established a practice in Lillington as a CPA where he served the Harnett County community for over 50 years. Russell was a member of the Lillington Chamber of Commerce and the Kiwanis club. He was a talented musician who enjoyed singing and playing the piano. Russell was a connoisseur of food who enjoyed cooking, eating, and sharing recipes with others. Most of all, he cherished the memories shared with his family and giving generously to those in need.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Kay Ussery Bradley of the home; his daughter, Julia Deloach and husband, Ryan of Duck, NC; his son, Jonathan Wright Bradley of Wilmington, NC; his grandchildren, Lola Deloach, Declan Bradley, and Asher Bradley; his brother, Phillip J. Bradley and wife Laura of Sanford, NC; his sister, Donna Lee and husband Jimmy of Erwin, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday February 2 at 1PM at Harnett Memorial Park in Lillington with Dr. David Stratton officiating.
