Joseph Daniels, 56, of Kankakee passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at Riverside Medical Center.
He was born January 15, 1965, in Chicago, the son of John James and Carol Ann (Wille) Daniels, Sr. In 1987, he married Lisa Marie Perry in Goodenow, IL.
Joseph enjoyed being with family, woodworking, and doing mechanical work on family and friends' vehicles. He was a member of the of St. Liborious Catholic Church in Steger, IL. He worked as a truck driver. Proud to be a member of the Local 705 Teamsters.
He is survived by his parents; son, Joseph (Kimberly) Daniels; daughters, Lisa (David) Moore, Anna Daniels, and Irene Daniels; sisters, Carolann (Brian) Bednar, Bonnie (late David) Wiltfong, and Anna (Patrick) O'Rourke; brothers, John (Darice) Daniels, Paul (Kim) Daniels; grandchildren, Shane, Tylor, Jayden, and Brianna Gilbert, Joseph and Aubrey Daniels and Emma Moore; As well as numerous nieces and nephews. Joseph is preceded in death by his wife and grandson, RJ Gilbert.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
