She was born on December 8, 1964 in Robeson County.
Susie enjoyed sewing, planting flowers, helping others, and going to Dollar General. She was a member of Annease Drive Praise and Worship Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ledford Smith and Jeanette Locklear; one brother, Nickey Locklear.
Susie is survived by her husband, Tony Jones; one daughter, Angel Martin (Joshua) of Red Springs; three sons: Lance Locklear (Belinda) of Morehead City, James Locklear (Peggy) of Rowland, and Antonio Jones (Hailey) of Rowland; nine grandchildren: James Jr, Lance Jr, Tanzanie, Donavon, Jaydon, Harmony, Noah, Riley and Ace; four sisters: Janette Smith of Gibson, Nickie Locklear of Gibson, Barbara Owens of Rowland, and Annie Smith of Rowland; and three brothers: Sammy Locklear of Fairmont, Timmy Smith of Gibson, and Joey Locklear of Gibson.
The memorial services will be held in Annease Drive Praise & Worship Center, 492 Annease Drive, Fairmont, NC 28340.
