Lisa Michelle Grammer, 54, Kokomo, left this world for eternal peace on Friday January 28, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on November 13, 1967, to the late Jerry L. and Toni (Merrifield) Miller. On June 4, 1988, she married Craig Grammer and he preceded her in death on April 28, 2013.
Lisa was a 1986 Kokomo High School graduate and received her nursing degree in 1987 from the Kokomo School of Nursing. Lisa had a love for the elderly and did geriatric nursing for many years at Waterford Place Health Campus, eventually working her way into management. She loved cooking, collecting Indian décor, horses, watching crime dramas and living in Florida.
She is survived by companion, Michael Sanchez; son, William "Cord" Grammer; grandson, whom she raised as her own son, Ashton Padfield; siblings, Tammy (Kevin) Summers, Rick (Pam) Miller, Cary (Amy) Miller; sister in law, Laurie Lohman; son in law, Michael Long; grandchildren, Gavyn Padfield, Jayden Beatty, Suzie Beatty, Maddie Santarosa, and Mason Long; special niece, Brittany Beatty; favorite cousin, Michelle Oldfield; step children, Carrie Sanchez, Ginnifer Sanchez and Aryk Sanchez; and her cat, Sabre.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; daughter, Aleyssa Grammer Long; brother, Todd Christopher Miller; and mother-in-law, Myrtle Grammer.
