Eva Kathy Cox, 63, of Hustonville, KY passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 29, 2022. Born on January 2, 1959 in Liberty, KY to the late Gene and Phyllis Luster Frederick. Kathy enjoyed fishing, camping, canning jams and riding her Harley-Davidson when she was younger. She also enjoyed working cattle at the family farm with her brother, Steve and spending time with her sister, Cindy, who was always by her side when she needed her. Kathy also loved her blueberry bushes, and made sure her family would give them the same care and devotion as she always did. She also had a special place in her heart for Sharon and Ryker, who she would always refer to as "her favorites". She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Serena Tillman of Trafalgar, IN, Shauna Dewey (Jim Bob) of Cloverdale, IN and Patricia Gast (Steve) of Danville, KY; one brother, Steve Frederick; three sisters, Mary Frederick, Cynthia Harris (Jerry) and Vicki Frederick; nine grandchildren, Jarrad, Arabella, Gunnar, Sebastian, Chris, Lexi, Killian, Piper and Sharon; two great-grandchildren, Jarrad, Jr. and Ryker; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a host of cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Phyllis Frederick; one son, Dallas S. Cox; and one niece, Candi Reyes.

A one-day service will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at New Salem Baptist Church in Hustonville, KY. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A memorial service will begin at 4:00 p.m. with Bro. Greg Lockard officiating.

A private family burial will be held at New Salem Cemetery at a later date.
