Jim was employed as a boilermaker, and was a proud member of Local #169. He worked on several projects in Michigan, including the boilers at Manistique Papers (now UP Paper) of Manistique. He was a member of St Francis de Sales Parish of Manistique, and he enjoyed bowling, building things in his garage, and especially working on his cars. Most important to Jim however, was the time spent with children and grandchildren, which he dearly loved.
Jim is survived by his son; Donald (Wanda) Lemaster of Manistique, daughter; Kellie Jo (Larry Pratt) Spencer of Dafter, MI, brother Roy (Carla) Lemaster of Washington, sister; Belinda (Perry) Potter of Florida, 6 grandchildren; Nicholas, Anthony, Samuel, Lauranna, Jimmy, and Tyler, his Mother in Law, Myrabelle Chase, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his wives Luella and Honey, he was preceded in death by his infant son, James, his parents, James and Marie, brothers; David and Bill, and sister Carol.
Graveside services for James Lemaster, will be held on Wednesday August 19, 2020 at 12:00 noon, at Fairview Cemetery, with the Rev. Father Ben Paris officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Jims name to CBC. Fausett Family Funeral Homes of Manistique is assisting the family with the arrangements. Condolences may be left at their website at fausettfh.com.
