Richard was born in New Britain, Connecticut, May 7, 1944. He was the son of the late Richard J. and Yolanda (Cianflone) Garrigus.
Richard was raised in New Britain, CT, attended local schools and graduated from New Britain High School. He honorably served his nation in The United States Army Nation Guard. Richard was employed for over 20 years as The National Loss Prevention Director for Marshalls. He was an accomplished musician who enjoyed singing and playing guitar. He loved music and enjoyed his time performing in bands and playing for family and friends. Richard was a long-time parishioner at Saint Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church in Derry, NH. He will be remembered for his strong faith, love of family and passion for music and life.
