James "Jim" P. Lowe passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 23, 2022 in Lewisville, Texas. He was 57 years old. He was born January 6, 1965 in Oceanside, New York to Kenneth and Margaret Lowe. He later moved with his family to Greenville, New York where he enjoyed his childhood years with his siblings and parents.

Jim went to Greenville High School where he was very active in school sports. He graduated a year early and went to college for two years. He then enlisted in the Marines where he served 4 years. He was ranked as Lance Corporal for AV8B Maintenance Specialist and Aircraft Ordinance Technician. He received a Letter of Commendation, Good Conduct Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, and Honorable Discharge. He then came back to New York where he met his wife, Sharon Elsasser Lowe. They were married on June 5, 1993 and had a son, Connor, on November 19, 1997. Jim worked for Overhead Doors in Hudson, New York for several years until his job moved them to Dallas, Texas. Three years later, they had a daughter, Kayla, on April 30, 2001.

After a few years, he switched jobs and went to work for a company called Move-Co. There, his job title was office manager for moves and estimation on moves. Jim was a big fan of sports and loved to play golf and poker. He attended all of his children's soccer, volleyball, and basketball games at their school and his daughter's gymnastics competitions. He also attended indoor soccer games that his son played in after high school. He enjoyed watching them and was very proud of them. He also enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. Jim loved fishing as well. He took his daughter to Galveston, Texas several times and went on week-end fishing trips with his daughter and his co-worker and son. They went to concerts together also. He enjoyed his late night talks with his son about everything and anything, mainly sports. During the children's younger years, he and his family went every year to Fort Worth Zoo, Fort Worth Stockyards, museums and the Christmas Parades. Jim loved life and lived it to the fullest.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Elsasser Lowe, son Connor Lowe and daughter Kayla Lowe. His parents, Kenneth and Margaret Lowe, sisters Kathleen Lowe and Christine Lowe brother Timothy Lowe, sister-in-law Debbie Elsasser and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister Patricia Lowe and niece Jamie Lynn Prout.

Jim was loved by all of his friends and family and he will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm, Monday, January 31, 2022 with the Celebration of Life following at 7:00 pm at Mulkey-Mason Chapel, Lewisville, TX.
