Michael Leon "Mike" Knox, age 70 of Graysville, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at his home. He was born in Graysville on May 12, 1951, the son of the late James William Knox and Magdalene (Carden) Maynor. He was also preceded in death by his five brothers, Arthur Knox, Bill Knox, Ricky Knox, Raymond Knox, and Charlie Maynor, and his three sisters, Betty Reel, Audrey Harwood, and Sharon Sims.

Mike lived in Graysville all of his life, was a boilermaker, and later sold produce. He served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the USMC in Okinawa. He attended North Hixson Church of God.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, his daughter, and his son. He is also survived by his two grandchildren and his three great-grandchildren. Also surviving Mike are his three brothers and his four sisters.

Funeral services for Mike with military honors will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Rick Smith officiating. He will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens on Saturday, January 29, 2022.
