Kimberly passed away on January 27, 2022 at UAB.
Kimberly was a well known local historian and author. She had written several books about the history of Anniston and Calhoun County. Kimberly was a graduate of Auburn University.
Kimberly is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Young O'Dell, and her grandparents, Roy and Velma Pearl Burgess Young.
She is survived by her father, Truman O'Dell; an aunt, Jane Young, of Colorado Springs, CO; her best friend, Tim Hatch and his wife, Kristy, and their son, Mason; and numerous cousins and other friends.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Cook, Ryan Grammer, Gary O'Dell, Tommy O'Dell, Isaiah Woods, and Jeff Owen. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Hatch and Chuck Kussicks.
