After High School he served in the United States Navy, during the Vietnam war from 1965 - 1969.

Steve served on the USS Constellation, maintaining the Jets on the flight deck.

He was a lover of nice cars especially vans and hot rod vans. Steve also loved going to sprint car races in the summer.

Steve went on to find a work home at Columbus Distributing (Budwiser) driving a beer truck for 43 years, never missing a day. This is where he made life long friendships with co-workers.

He loved spending time with his grandchildren, and daughter. Steve was the most loving father a daughter could ever want.

Our family wants to extend a special thanks to the McDonalds on Sunbury Road, for the loving kindness they showed to him everyday. He was a regular!
