Gary Dwain DuVall, 76, of Wheatley, Owen County, KY, died on Friday, January 28, 2022, at the St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY.

He was born on October 5, 1945, in Ashland, Boyd County, KY, the son of the late J.C. DuVall and Sylvia Katheryn (Dunavent) DuVall. Gary had worked for ASA Phillips at EPS Products in Sparta, KY, as a Manufacturing Technician on Floating Tobacco Trays. He served his Country Honorably in the United States Army, during the Vietnam Era, having served in Germany.

Gary was a member of the Dallasburg Baptist Church. He enjoyed his extended families and attending there sporting events. Gary had served as a Line Judge in Youth Volleyball Sports. He enjoyed mowing and camping and loved being a "Band Dad".

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Smith DuVall of Worthville, KY, to whom he married on June 12, 1971, a daughter, Katie (Jamie) DuVall Pryor of Shelbyville, KY, a brother, James C. "Jamie" DuVall of Ghent, KY, a sister, Yvonne "Evie" DuVall Mefford of Wheatley, KY, nieces, Ann Carter of Sparta, KY, Kelly Burford of Owenton, KY, Linda Jones of Warsaw, KY, Breann Robinson of Ghent, KY, nephews, Jonathan Duvall of Ghent, KY, Jimmy Wayne Ball of Wheatley, KY, Jeromy Ball of Louisville, KY, Jim Farrar of Sparta, KY and Willie Farrar of Saddieville, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
