She had a massive stroke on Eastern Sunday 2009 and survived 3 more days at Inova Hospital in Fairfax. She wanted to have her organs donated to the living and her body cremated. She had a memorial at Trinity United Methodist Church in Annapolis. After the service, the immediate family loaded onto two boats and her ashes were spread at Sandy Point Lighthouse and in the Chesapeake Bay. Both her parents and family are buried in Martinsburg WV but she knew at the day of resurrection she would not need a grave or tombstone and Christ will call us by name wherever our final resting place.
