David was preceded in death by his parents, Levi Hunt and Bernice Owens-Hunt; one brother, Brady L. Hunt; and his grandparents: Jane Owens, Charlie Owens, and Mary Lizzie Hunt.
He is survived by one son, Terrell Hunt of Pembroke; five siblings: Helen Hunt Cook of Fayetteville, Bobby Hunt of Rowland, Patricia Winfield of Rowland, Margaret Hunt (Lavon) of Rowland, and Mary Forbes (Tyrone) of Rowland; and a host of nieces and nephews.
