She was a wonderful wife, Mama, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Shirley was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, and she loved the Lord. She enjoyed being part of a large loving family and had many friends. Shirley will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her five loving children, Terry Hill, Darrell Hill and wife Cindy, Julie Lester and husband Keith, Jeffrey Hill Sr. and wife Michelle, and Lisa Hill; 6 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Shirley is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Julius T. Hill; parents, Henry and Rosa Kinchen; sisters, Mary Hill, Rosa Mae Traylor, Imogene "Jean" Kitchens; and brothers, Curtis, Henry "Jr" and Dewitt Kinchen.
Due to Covid concerns, a private service was held for Shirley's five children and their families. Bro. Derek Wall officiated the interment at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the church of your choice.
