Joan is survived by two daughters, Tracie (Beau) Lindley and Tricia (Rudy) Vasquez of Corpus Christi, TX, and son, David (Krista) Hopkins of Benton; first cousin Patsy Percy of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Melissa Knippa of McEwen, TN, Martin Diegel of Corpus Christi, TX, and Griffin Hopkins of Benton; three great-grandchildren, Annabelle Knippa of McEwen, TN and Colton and Cason Diegel of Corpus Christi, TX; as well as her honorary daughter, Danielle Browning of Benton.
Joan is preceded in death by her beloved husband, David V. Hopkins of 69 years, her parents, Beecher and Willie (Bill) Davenport, and her sister, Mary Beth Herlein.
Joan enjoyed working with her mother for many years at Bill's Flower Shop and traveling all over the world with her beloved David. Her children and grandchildren were her life. We will miss her so very much.
A private ceremony will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Pinecrest Cemetery in Alexander, AR. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, 4823 Woodlawn Dr., Little Rock, AR 72205.
A very special thanks to Glenda Dilbeck and Sherry Jackson who were her caregivers. They loved and cared for her like family.
