Margaret D. Lucas of Bowie, MD, passed quietly on January 7, 2022. She is survived by her husband Derotha Lucas; son, Durrell (Hellen), three stepsons (Eric, Victor, and Danny), and her wonderful daughter-in-law Christine Smith. She is preceded in death by her sons, Ronald and Nathan Smith, and grandson Clifton Lockhard. Margaret was a devoted grandmother to eight grandchildren, four-great-grands, one great-great-grand, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place at 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m., Friday, January 28, 2022, at Mt. Calvary Catholic Church, 6700 Marlboro Pike, Forestville, MD 20747.
