Obituary of Mary Lou Brady Coleman
Star- Mary Lou Coleman, age 81, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at First Health Hospice House.

She was born in Montgomery County on November 9, 1940 to Whitt and Gladys Hogan Brady. She retired from Autumn Care where she worked in housekeeping and she was a member of Community Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her sisters Martha Britt and Nan Beaver.

She is survived by her husband Melvis Coleman of the home; daughter Rhonda Currie of Haver, Montana; brothers Carl Brady (Barbara) of Troy; Larry Brady (Teresa) of Eagle Springs; Johnny Brady of Troy; sisters Betty Ann Myers of Star and Carol Maness of Biscoe. Two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Mary's body will lie in repose on Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 1:00-5:00 pm at Phillips Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Jimmy Shirlen officiating. Burial will follow at Community Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to First Health Hospice Foundation-150 Applecross Road Pinehurst, NC 28374.
