Margaret Juanita Taylor was born June 5, 1947, in Mountain View, Missouri to Melvin and Juanita (Magee) Houck, and passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at her son's home surrounded by her family at the age 74.

As a young girl, Margaret's family moved to Nebraska where they lived for a period of time in York. She was employed as a cook for Concordia College, Seward and later worked at the Egg Plant in David City. Margaret was united in marriage to Edward "George" Taylor in May of 1965. Together they lived in York and Seward before living in Ulysses.

Margaret made Christmas trees made out of clothes hangers and also blankets for many of her family. She was an avid animal lover, and enjoyed cooking, baking, camping and fishing, making crafts, and going out to eat and traveling, often to Colorado.

Survivors include her husband, George, Ulysses, children and spouses, Mark and Jeanne Taylor, Waco, Steven and Tuul Taylor, Milford, Virginia and Mike Banks, Beaver Crossing, Christine and Chris Rocco, Spanaway, WA, Deanna and Ken McCartney, Ulysses, Bonnie and Colby Mason, York, Georgiana and Ted Brock, Lincoln, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents.

Margaret is to be cremated and a celebration of her life will be determined by her loved ones at a later date.
