Wilson Oral Keeter, aged 73, of Campbell Station (Jackson County), died Monday. Born at Yellville, he was a Baptist and the first mayor of Campbell Station. He was a member of the committee to formulate plans for the establishment of the Jackson County School for Retarded Children and served on the board for many years. He was a Justice of the Peace for Jefferson Township. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Opal Johnson Keeter; five sons; three brothers, Ancel G. Keeter of Weldon, Vester Keeter of Missouri, and Roma Keeter of Kansas; six sisters, Mrs. Dottie Phillips and Mrs. Donnie Webb, both of Michigan, Mrs. Afton James of Newport, Mrs. Moatte Taylor and Mrs. Gracie Johnson, both of California, and Mrs. Ivie Johnson of Yellville, five grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
