Jimmie Clark age 76 & his wife of 53 years, Sandra Kay Clark age 70 both of New Paris, Ohio died suddenly on Friday, January 21, 2022, at their residence from a house fire.

Jimmie was born on December 17, 1945, in Tennessee the son of the late J.W. & Myrble (Thomas) Clark. He had worked for Hopkins Home Improvement in Richmond, IN and was a member of the New Paris American Legion. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Jerry Clark in 1991 and Dewayne Jaynes in 2011. Two sisters: Penny Clark Isaacs in 2020 and Judy Clark Brown in 1999.

Sandra Kay was born on November 5, 1951, in Richmond, IN the daughter of the late Ray & Ruby (Maupin) Spencer. She was a 1970 National Trail High School graduate and retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a Mail Carrier in New Paris and Eaton, Ohio.

Survivors include their son: Jammie Clark of New Paris, OH; grandchildren: Ashley Clark, Jordan Clark, Cody Clark and Jade Clark, great grandchild: Nova Lee Kay Clark, several nieces & nephews.

Family will receive friends Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St., New Paris, Ohio. A Celebration of Life Service for Jimmie & Sandra will be 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Rodney Dunn officiating.

Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, OH at a later date.
