Roy Brown, 75, of Seneca RD 1, died at 12:50 pm Sunday in Franklin Hospital. He was born in Franklin September 19, 1897, son of Frederick and Amelia DeWoody Brown.
He worked as a pumper in oil fields in this area, and at one time worked for McCalmont Oil Co.
He married Mabel Sherman, who died February 24, 1963.
Surviving are a son, James O. Brown of Buffalo, NY; two daughters, Mrs. John (Dorothy) Fry of Seneca RD 1, and Mrs. Paul (Betty) Dickson of Pittsburgh; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Marino of Cleveland; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Deceased are two sons; four brothers; and a sister.
Services will be at 11 am Wednesday at Charles A. Morrison Funeral Home with Rev. Merle Wonderling, pastor of Seneca United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Heckathorn Cemetery.
