Mr. George Kenneth "Kenny" Adams, Jr., age 58, husband of Amanda Holcombe Adams, of 106 Scarborough Dr., Union, passed away, Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Adams was born November 20, 1963, in Union, a son of the late Annie Mae and Bunt Adams. He was a graduate of Jonesville High School and was employed at Gestamp. Mr. Adams attended Calvary Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Blair Turner of Union and Bailey Smith and husband Nick of Union; two sisters, Samantha L. Burrow of North Carolina and Gail A. Williford of Union; two brothers, Johnny Adams and Joey Adams both of Union; an aunt, Linda Tucker and husband Tommy of Union; and five grandchildren, Hayden Inman, Tylen Inman, Bentley Smith, Kendon Inman, and Addy Smith. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kyley Smith; his father, George Adams an Uncle J.T. Adams; his mother and father-in-law, Ken and Sandra Holcombe; and two cousins, Paul Tucker and Tommy Adams.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Damon Duncan. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be Nick Smith, Jamie "AIF" Matthews, Hayden Inman, Tylen Inman, Steve "Buck" Malone, and Brian Knox. The following are asked to serve as the honorary escort, Bentley Smith, Kendon Inman, and Steve Waddell.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
