She was born on June 27, 1927, in Darke County, Ohio, to the late Wilford and Lessie (Warvel) Amspaugh.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Hart, whom she married on August 20, 1949; her brother, Daniel Amspaugh; and his brothers-in-law, Roger Miller and Dean Brewer.
Mary was a 1945 graduate of Greenville High School and furthered her education at a business college in Elkhart, Indiana. She and her husband, Charles, lived in Dayton where Mary spent her lifetime assisting in the area of dental care, and Charles owned and operated Root Termite Pest Control Service. Her passion was in the area of art. Many people have benefited from and enjoyed her passion throughout the years.
Mary is survived by her three sisters, Thelma Brewer and Danna Miller, both of Darke County, and Iona Amspaugh of Berne, Indiana; her sister-in-law, Rosella (John) Glessner of Greenville; numerous nieces and nephews; and a support group of lifetime neighbors.
A celebration of Mary's life will take place at 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 22, 2022.
Burial will follow in Beamsville Cemetery.
