His funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday in the CHAPEL OF DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. Interment will follow in Sunset memorial Cemetery. Mr. Howard was born December 29, 1947, in St. Stephen, SC, a son of Charlie A. Howard and Lottie Frances Wadford Howard. When Mr. Wadford was not working, he enjoyed staying home with his family, playing old school video games such as Packman, a rubix cube, shooting pool, fishing and hunting. He was predeceased by a grandson, Brandon Hearn; a sister, Sadie Mae Wright; and three brothers, Fred Howard, Sr., Peter Howard, and Salty Howard.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Josephine "Jo" Hughes Howard; a daughter, Angie Hearne and her husband Bruce of Summerville; a son, John H. Howard, Jr. of St. Stephen; a sister, Dorothy Olsen of Litchfieldtown; two brothers, Donald Howard of McBeth and Isaac Howard of Moncks Corner; four grandchildren, Bruce Hearne, II, Ashleigh Stone, Navada Howard, and Blane Jacobs; and two great grandchildren, Brooklyn Grace Stone and Blair Avery Stone.
