Ms. Joan R. Brown, the daughter of the late Isham and Elizabeth Green was born September 13, 1950 and departed on December 26, 2013. She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Anthony Green (Tameka) of Norfolk, a daughter Rhonda Brown of Norfolk, (U.S. Army), five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a brother Isham Green Jr., two nieces of Norfolk and a nephew of Wisconsin, and a host of great nieces and nephews and many caring family members and friends. A homegoing service will be held on January 2 at 11 a.m. at Riddick Funeral Service, 1225 Norview Ave. The viewing will be January 1 from 2 to 8 p.m. and a wake will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
