Margaret Anne French, age 87, of Carmel, Indiana, formerly of Indianapolis, IN, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2022 after a long journey with dementia. She was born October 18, 1934 to the late Lawrence T. and Nell (Haber) Lynch. She born and raised in Union City, Indiana where she attended school. She graduated from Indiana University and was a member of Alpha Phi Sorority. She is survived by her children Edward T French III, Gail (Brett) Pheffer and Susan French, her grandchildren Matt (Michelle) Pheffer, Katie (Andrew) Bissmeyer and Michael Pheffer, her great grandchildren Alexander Bissmeyer, Anibel Bissmeyer, Olivia Bissmeyer, Charlotte Pheffer and Samuel Pheffer.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin T French Jr, and her two brothers Charles Lynch and Richard Lynch. Anne will be most remembered as "Mimi" to her grandchildren as they were the light of her life. She holds a special place in many hearts and will be missed greatly, as she was a friend to all. She had a smile that engaged you and a touch that warmed you. Anne was artistic, creative and imaginative. She had an eye for detail and a style of her own. There will be a private burial. In lieu of flowers please share your kindness with those in need. The family also thanks the loving team who cared for Anne at Hoosier Village.
