He was born April 29, 1934 in Dover the son of Donald and Catherine (Hourihane) Murphy and has resided in this area all of his life.
He was predeceased by his sister, Mary Ginn and his granddaughter Julia Renee Bisson.
Visiting hours will be Monday January 31, 2022 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Tasker Funeral Home 621 Central Ave., Dover.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday February 1, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Parish of the Assumption St. Mary Church (corner of Third and Chestnut Sts) Dover.
