Nick was born on November 20, 1936 to Annie Rose and J. Nick Sloan, Jr.
In 1960, Nick married Rose Machek who was also a lifetime resident of Delray.
Nick is survived by his wife of 61 years; his 3 daughters, his four grandchildren, and one precious great granddaughter. He also leaves a sister, four beloved nieces and many special cousins.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Anne "Tucky" Sloan Samsen.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Nick will be laid to rest at the Delray Beach Memorial Gardens.
